Collaborating with Compass Collective, a charity aiding refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, we developed a series of games to design recycled chairs using found objects. These chairs, created by participants through component swapping and simple weaving or painting techniques, were intended to complement a soundscape in an exhibition aimed at raising awareness for refugee and asylum seekers' rights. Additionally, I designed a table that could fit within the exhibition space and be transported in a small Citroen Nemo van. To meet this requirement, the table was designed to be dismantlable and flat-packable, fitting within the van's width alongside the chairs.
